Wow! What a year it’s been for Bible translation! Through your prayers and giving, you have helped make it possible for God’s Word to go out among the nations! 🌍

In the last year alone, 40 different language groups in 16 different countries/regions have received newly published Scripture in their own language!
Praise the Lord!
“Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness… Let everything that has breath praise the Lord…”
~ Psalm 150:2, 6a ~
Rejoice and Be Exceedingly Glad!
This year, God has visited countless people throughout the world as they have received His Word in their language.
Celebrate with the Upper Pokomo people from Keyna, who received their New Testament in April! 🙌

Rejoice with the Waata people from Keyna, who received their New Testament in July. 🥳

And the Zinza people received God’s Word with joy in July.

THANK YOU for helping take part in giving millions of people access to a Bible, New Testament, or Scripture portions in their own language! It’s exciting to think about worshipping in front of the throne in heaven, with people present from every tribe, every tongue, every people, and every language!
New Translation Projects!
We are also encouraged to know that over 400 Bible translation projects (a record number!) were started in the last year! We are rapidly coming to a time where EVERY language will have access to God’s Word in a language and format that speaks to their hearts! We pray you are encouraged by this video update from Wycliffe.
Through partnership, we can continue to take part in the Gospel being preached to the farthest nations and people groups of the world!
Year-End Need & Opportunity
As we approach the end of 2025, we are grateful for the ways the Lord has provided for our Wycliffe ministry. Throughout this year, a variety of people have joined our team, some were no longer able to give, and others have increased their giving. God has been faithful through it all, and we are thankful for His provision, and for increased prayer and financial partners!
Each year, there are changes to the budget Wycliffe has established for us, including ministry expense and cost-of-living adjustments. The graphic below shows our financial status for the past three years.

We are currently about $1480/month below the ministry budget that Wycliffe sets for us, and also have a significant cumulative shortfall for 2025.
Would you prayerfully consider joining our monthly financial partnership team and/or giving a special year-end gift? Gifts received by Nov 30th will be applied to our shortfall for 2025, and gifts given in Dec/Jan will help us start next year strong.
Invest Financially 🤝

🙏 Prayer & Praise 🙌
- Praise: For millions of people who have access to God’s Word in their own language.
- Prayer: That every language would have Scripture that speaks to their hearts.
- Praise/Prayer: For opportunities to share about our Wycliffe ministry with individuals and churches.
- Prayer: For additional financial partners to join our team.
- Prayer: For God’s strategy and timing for a house for our family! 🏡
Jesus is coming back soon, and Scripture says that the Gospel must be preached to the ends of the earth before He comes back (Matthew 24:14). Let’s continue to pray and press into the will of God to reach the final languages, in Jesus’ name!
Rejoicing at God’s goodness,
James and Christina
🙏 Recent Family Highlights 🥲
Christina’s Mom
Christina’s mom (Peggy) was recently unexpectedly diagnosed with terminal stage 4 cancer. She is ready to be with Jesus and has chosen hospice. Two different hospice nurses have said she’s the most joyful and peace-filled patient they’ve ever had!
She’s also turned into an overnight evangelist, eager to share what the Lord has done for her with everybody she can! We’ve enjoyed spending extra time with her and Charlie (Christina’s dad) over this last month.

We are also very grateful to be within 10 minutes of Christina’s parents, and have put our pursuit of a house on hold for now. 🙏
God’s Blessings
In spite of challenging times, God has given us reminders that He sees our pain, is present in these moments, and gives us joy along the way.
