Photo Journal: Photos and Happenings of Late

Our first Sunday back in PNG was relatively cool so all three kiddos got the opportunity to wear their new sweaters that Aunt Linda crocheted for them. They got lots of compliments on their cute coordinating sweaters. Too fun!

Chilly Day

Laurel, being her usual cute and independent self decided to eat her fruit snacks before church (they were intended to be part of our ploy to keep the kids relatively quiet for as long as possible during the service).

Here she is hunching her shoulders a bit and giving me “the eye” because she thought I might ask her to save her fruit snacks for church. :-) As you can see she is “ready to go” with her bilum, crocheted heart purse, and rubber boots.

Timothy has enjoyed the Johnny Jump-Up, though he doesn’t get opportunity to use it very often because we don’t think of it and/or we don’t have time to supervise his use of it…i.e. protect him from overly zealous sisters who want to “help” him use it. ;-)Timothy in Johnny Jump Up

Mikayla has learned a new “trick”…she LOVES standing on her head on the couch. She figured it out all by herself, but we think she got the inspiration from watching Uncle Jonathan at the Farnell Family Reunion. She did this over and over for so long that we began to worry about her getting too much blood in her head…similar to when she is spinning, she doesn’t seem to know when enough is enough.

Mikayla showing Timothy “the ropes” on the tablet… he’s a budding techie. :-)

Do you think maybe I’m just a bit OCD in how I arrange dishes in the rack?

BTW, I love this set up…it is just above the sink and when you’re done washing you just close the cupboards and it looks great!

The girls (and their dolls and stuffed animals) have sure enjoyed using the porch swing again.
