The Most Important Book in History!
The Bible is the most important, influential, and trustworthy book in history, sharing the Good News about Jesus and eternal life through Him!
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
~ 2 Timothy 3:16-17 ~
And yet for millions of people all over the world, these truths are inaccessible because they are in a language/format that they do not understand.
This is why Bible translation is so important and is an essential part of missions in the world today. Without God’s Word, how can we deeply know Jesus? How can we truly make disciples?!
Real-Life Testimonies
When God’s Word is translated into a language and format that people understand, all sorts of powerful testimonies emerge…
Communities are Restored
Before Bible translation began, the Binumarien population had been reduced by fighting and disease from about 3000 to a mere 111 people. After receiving the New Testament in Binumarien, their lives began to be transformed. They started turning to God in prayer instead of fighting, and are now a thriving people group over 1000 strong!

James helped support the Binumarien team as they revised their New Testament, and our family attended the re-dedication of their newly revised New Testament with five Old Testament books!

Hearts are Healed
Abraham, a pastor serving the Konso language community in Ethiopia, had experienced terrible loss due to violence. His house was even burned to the ground during a time of conflict. Millions of others around the world have also experienced violent conflict, deep loss, abuse, or other traumas.
But God is the healer of broken-hearts (Psalm 147:3). Pastor Abraham experienced God as Jehovah-Rapha, “The Lord Who Heals” in a Trauma Healing Workshop. These workshops are held all over the world, with materials translated into over 190 languages. During these workshops, broken-hearts are healed as people engage with local Scriptures, and forgive those who hurt them.

People are also being equipped to multiply the Trauma Healing process and facilitate future workshops for others!
“God Speaks MY Language!”
When people received Scripture in Ikuktitut, they proclaimed, “God speaks my language!”This is a simple revelation that has a profound impact, and it’s been repeated countless times around the world.
“I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” Jeremiah 31:33b
God goes from feeling like a foreigner to being Someone they can learn about, encounter, and pray to, all in a language that communicates directly to their heart and soul.

Partnership Update
All over the world, people are engaging with Scripture in a language and format that speaks to their hearts! It’s encouraging and exciting to be able to take part in supporting the Bible translation movement through software support, training, and global collaboration.
We are grateful for the many prayers that have been offered for us, our family, and our Wycliffe ministry. We have a very real enemy, and fight a very real spiritual battle. Prayer makes it possible for us to do the work that we do. Thank you for praying and partnering!

By God’s grace, our 2025 annual ministry budget was fully covered! Many of you contributed generous one-time gifts at the end of the year. Thank you!
Those gifts helped us finish the year strong, but they did not increase our ongoing monthly support, which is what keeps our Wycliffe ministry going year after year.
As we move into 2026, please pray with us for more regular, ongoing financial partners. We recently received two new/increased financial partners (praise God!), and are currently only about $1,100 per month below the ministry budget Wycliffe has set for us.

Would you prayerfully consider helping God’s Word reach the nations by becoming a monthly financial partner or increasing your giving?
Invest Financially 🤝
To invest financially in our Wycliffe ministry, please visit our partnership page (and also let us know).
We are also grateful for those who have shared our Wycliffe ministry with others. We are sharing at two new-to-us churches as a result! Please reach out if you would like to advocate for us.
