For several months, we have been encountering spiritual warfare of many kinds (physical, emotional, mental, financial, etc).  Yesterday, it culminated in an incident that has deeply affected our family.  Because of this, we need to come home to the U.S. to take the necessary steps to bring our family back to wholeness.

Here’s some things that we do know (amidst the chaos of trying to leave in a few days):

-God is good! And His grace is sufficient for our every need. He is always so faithful to us even when we don’t know what we need.
-We are booked to fly out of Ukarumpa on Friday. That gives us today (Wed) and Thursday to get ready to leave. (Right now it is 7 a.m. on Wednesday).
-We do not have any more flights booked yet because we do not know where we are going…MI or WA. We also do not know our route.

Please be in prayer for our family.  This is very difficult on multiple fronts.

Ways to pray:
-For sanity and peace as we prepare to leave our home in Ukarumpa (our support center) and our friends in Papua New Guinea (PNG).
-For spiritual protection: physically, mentally, emotionally – for us and each child specifically, please.
-For our children: We haven’t told them that we are leaving yet. They will be very excited to be coming to America though they won’t comprehend all that they are saying goodbye to.
-For wisdom in the logistics: Packing, saying goodbyes, buying plane tickets, making necessary reservations for accommodations, etc.
-That we would “leave well”: wisdom in communicating with our friends and community here as we leave so suddenly.
-Pray for our kids and us as we pack, travel, transition back to the U.S., and start the healing process.
-Pray for our finances: we’ve been under budget for many months and are definitely feeling it.
-However else the Holy Spirit leads you.
