WOW!!  We made it to Australia just fine!  Praise God!!  Our flights were totally on time and things were quite uneventful.  Our kids slept reasonably well, which is a huge praise considering the flight from Los Angeles to Brisbane started at about midnight and was 14 hours long.

Now we’re in Brisbane and we were all ready to fly up to Port Moresby, PNG in about 1.5 hours, and then fly straight up to Ukarumpa (our support center where we live).  Unfortunately, our flight to PNG has been delayed, which means we will miss the flight to Ukarumpa.  Needless to say, we’re exhausted and very disappointed that we won’t be able to sleep in our own bed in Ukarumpa tonight.

That means we need to make some changes to our travel plans.  We need to change our flight to Ukarumpa to the next available flight, which will hopefully be on Monday.  As well, we need to find a place to stay in Port Moresby.  There is a nice Missionary House in Port Morseby which provides meals and rooms, and we would really like to get in there.

We would love it if our delayed flight would be “undelayed” so that we could make it to Port Moresby in time to catch our flight to Ukarumpa, but that’s all in God’s hands.  Please pray that would happen if it’s God’s will.  If He has another plan, please pray that there would be space available on the Monday flight to Ukarumpa and that there would be space at the Missionary House for this weekend.  It’s all very last minute, but God loves to work in that way as we’ve seen so clearly with our visas.
