Mikayla saw her first armadillo on Friday (in case you don’t know what armadillos are, picture an opossum with armor: see pic below).  It was during her morning walk (we’ve been getting her up around 7 or 7:30 and taking her for a walk to try and reset her internal clock to Eastern time).  The sun had just come up and we were on our way back to the apartment when I saw it.  I was excited and told Mikayla to “look” and pointed.  I’m not sure when she actually saw it, but I know she watched it because it went behind a pole and she craned her neck to see it again.  What fun!
