Today somebody said, “any self-respecting body of water in Florida has alligators in it”.  Yikes!  And the Wycliffe center has a 38 foot deep retaining pond on their property.  Needless to say, they encouraged us to stay away from the water and direct any curious children away from it as well.  In fact, a few years ago, there was a 5 foot alligator on campus, and a few Equips ago, somebody saw a 3 foot alligator outside the building we meet in.  But, they are slow-moving on land, so that’s good.

There are also small lizards all over the place.  And they’re fast little guys too!  I’ve tried to catch a few and had no success.  Today I saw a slower one, but didn’t think to try and catch it.  Anybody know of lizard catching techniques?  The closest I’ve come before is catching a tail (yes, they do loose their tails, and yes, they do twitch: kinda weird).
